Annie is based in Dumfries a town in the beautiful South West of Scotland.
A Pilates Instructor since 2001, training with the Michael King School of Pilates ( formerly Pilates Institute ). Ongoing training with various Pilates schools Modern Pilates, Debbie Hanson Pilates, Cherry Baker's Pelvic Floor Dysfunction and Lydia Campbell's Trigger Point Pilates. Annie is particularly interested in injury prevention and recovery. In 1997, Annie achieved her ITEC diploma in Therapeutic Massage. In 2008 she received her Diploma in Remedial and Sports Massage from the Western School. Ongoing training as a member of SMTO ( Scottish Massage Therapists Organisation ) and NAMMT ( National Association of Massage and Manipulative Therapists). Annie also has an interest in myofascial work and is hoping to do some training with Ruth Duncan in Myofascial Release. Annie first became a Trager Approach practitioner in 1998. Training with the Trager Institute, and a member of TUK ( Trager UK ). It is a very gentle and subtle re -education of the body. This work is very fulfilling and deepens with every training.
